Around 1990, Koning & Hartman supplied one of the first industrial computers in the Netherlands. At the time, it was a Texas Micro ISA bus-based industrial computer. Over the years, we have built up a wealth of expertise. Deliverability and lifecycle management are two separate issues. Deliverability refers to the period during which products are available. For industrial PC components, this ranges from 3 to 7 years. Lifecycle management is a much broader concept and includes roadmaps, compatible successors, end-of-life notifications and last-time-buy options. We don't offer one or the other, but offer it all. Of course, this depends on the choices that are made. If you choose a component for a new design that is at the end of its lifecycle, you should not expect 7 years (or more) of availability. Our specialists can advise you on the possibilities.
You can buy Intel CPUs and industrial PCs with Intel processors anywhere. What is less well known is that Intel has an embedded roadmap for industrial applications. This means that Intel has versions of almost every processor series that are included in a special lifecycle programme, with a clear roadmap and longer availability. However, you cannot buy these products everywhere. Koning & Hartman is the Intel partner that specialises in this area and knows everything there is to know about the Intel embedded roadmap. An additional advantage for you is that we can provide expert advice on performance, price, heat development and availability.
Like Intel, Microsoft has a separate group of products for industrial computers. Microsoft calls this group Windows Embedded. Within Windows Embedded, you will find licences such as Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC and now also the embedded version of Windows 11: Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024. And when it comes to longer availability, you will still find older versions of Windows here. Koning & Hartman is the specialist in the Benelux in the field of Windows Embedded and, as a Microsoft distributor, we also have first-hand information and support.
We have never counted the number of different models. For some applications, the dimensions are important, while for others, heat dissipation or robustness is more important. Another important factor that determines the design is the processor board and desired processor performance. You will always find a suitable design with us.
The next choice concerns the backplane, processor and processor board. We support all common single board computers, industrial motherboards and computer-on-modules. The choice depends on the number of slots or even the number of computers in a single housing on the one hand, and the price tag on the other.

Koning & Hartman has relationships with manufacturers who make customised housings, so you can determine the dimensions, colour and holes yourself.

The warranty depends on the components chosen and ranges from 1 to 5 years.
Koning & Hartman has its own integration and assembly facilities. Our teams integrate and assemble industrial computers as well as complete 19-inch racks. From simple standard integration to highly extensive and fully customised assembly of Box PCs, Panel PCs, 19-inch Industrial PCs and servers, we take care of it all on a daily basis. Our primary goal is to deliver ready-to-use IPCs and thereby unburden the customer.
Thanks to our many years of experience, we go further where others stop. We also integrate your own hardware and software. This includes documentation, factory acceptance tests, serial number registration, purchasing, warehouse storage and handling of RMAs. We also provide this type of service for smaller quantities. Our organisation is fully equipped for this.
We offer a complete range of logistics services. We agree on the desired delivery performance and fulfil this using modern logistics. You can place orders with us using regular orders, call-off orders or forecasts. We deliver to your location, your subcontractor or even your end customer.
